The Commission
On the evening of the resurrection, the disciples hid behind locked doors, afraid of what might happen next. Then Jesus came and stood among them. He spoke peace into their fear, showed them His wounds as proof He was alive, and sent them into the world with His authority and Spirit. Today, that same risen Savior meets us — not to leave us where we are, but to send us where we live. Every street, every workplace, every home is a mission field. As we conclude Fishing from the Hill, we remember: we are not simply attendees of church… we are missionaries sent by Jesus Himself. Go ready.
