Awana is a fun, interactive time of learning God’s Word through large group message, songs, small group Bible verse time, interactive games, and snack time. We have fun theme nights weekly and several mission projects throughout the year.

Ages: 3 yrs – 6th grade

Cubbies

In Awana Cubbies, kids learn truths about the Bible through Bible stories, puppet shows, games, crafts, and songs. They also earn awards for memorizing God’s Word.

  • Cubbies (3 yrs – Pre-K  **must be completely potty trained** *Space is limited)

*If your child has a Cubbie vest already, you do not need a new one. Cubbies receive award patches to put on their vest.
**Bags are optional, but encouraged to keep all supplies in one location.

Sparks

Sparks ignites the curiosity of early elementary age kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ. They have a Bible message, snacks, interactive games, and earn awards for memorizing God’s Word.

  • Sparks (Kindergarten – 2nd grade)
  • Handbook $15 (Everyone)
  • Vest* $15
  • CD $10 optional
  • Church on the Hill Bag** $5 optional

*If your child has a Sparks vest already, you do not need a new one. Sparks receive award patches and jewels on their vest.
** Bags are optional but encouraged to keep all supplies in one location.

T&T

T & T (Truth & Training) teaching kids the truth of God’s Word and trains them to follow Him. They have a Bible message, snacks, interactive games, and earn awards for memorizing God’s Word.

  • T & T (3rd-6th grade)
  • Book $15
  • Jersey* $20
  • Bags** $5 – $15 optional

*If your child has a T & T Jersey already, you do not need a new one. T & T kids will receive award patches to go on their Jersey.
**Bags are optional, and come in various styles, but encouraged to keep all supplies in one location.

Permission Agreement

This consent form gives permission to seek whatever medical attention is deemed necessary, and releases the Church and its staff of any liability against personal losses of named child.
I/We the undersigned have legal custody of the child named above, a minor, and have given our consent for him/her to attend events being organized by the Church.

Release of Liability

By signing this Permission/Waiver Form, I/We expressly warrant that the child/children named above is/are capable of withstanding the physical demands of the activities discussed above. I also expressly assume all risks of the child or me participating in the activities, whether such risks are known or unknown to me at this time. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Church on the Hill and its pastors, staff, leaders, agents, volunteer workers, agents, and any other affiliates from any and all liability for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property that may occur during the course of my/our child’s involvement.

First Aid and Emergency Medical Treatment

I recognize that there may be occasions where the child named above may be in need of first aid or medical treatment as a result of an accident, illness, or other health condition or injury. I do hereby give permission for agents of The Church on the Hill to seek and secure any medical attention or treatment for the child named above, including hospitalization if in the agent's opinion such need arises. I agree to pay all fees and costs arising from this action to obtain medical treatment. I give permission for attending physicians(s) and other medical personnel to administer any needed medical treatment, including surgery, and, again, I agree to pay for the medical treatment.

Publicity

On occasion, The Church on the Hill takes photographs or makes an audio or video recording of children and/or adults involved in church activities. Such photographs or video records may be used by staff and participants to remember the activities or participants. In addition, such photographs and audio/visual recordings may be used in The Church on the Hill publications or advertising materials to let others know about our ministry. I consent to the use of any such audio or visual record of the child/children named above to be used, distributed, or displayed as agents of the church see fit. This consent includes but is not limited to photographs, video, and audio recordings.
