Baptism
We believe that baptism, “believers baptism” because authentic baptism comes after salvation (Mark 1:9; Acts 2:41; Acts 8:12), is done by born-again followers of Christ as an act of obedience and public declaration of believing in Jesus. Baptism does not save a soul, but portrays the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. (Romans 6:4) New Testament baptism was by immersion (Mark 1:10-11; Acts 8:34-35) and membership in Church on the Hill requires a testimony of salvation and baptism.
